The weather mid-November is usually mild - warm circa. 9°C – 25°C, normally the average is around 20 degrees. However, the Melbourne weather can be erratic at times so bring jeans and jumpers too! Sydney is generally warmer than Melbourne, and they love going on about that so don’t engage Sydneysiders in conversations about the weather.

Car Rental:

For those who wish to rent a car here in Melbourne it is pretty simple to do. All you need is your driving licence. The only real need for a car would be if you wanted to do any day trip out of Melbourne (e.g. the Great Ocean Road). Otherwise everything is walking distance or accessible by train or tram. Also if you do rent a car beware of parking charges and speeding fines…. Ollie can verify that speeding fines are not cheap.
